Project ProcessThe purpose of this project was to learn about Ancient Greece and how to make a book. First, we had to do a mythology presentation with our group members. After that, we had to read a book, either Lost in the Labyrinth, or Nobody's Princess. We also had to do five reading logs for the one you chose to do. I chose Last in the Labyrinth. Next, we wrote our paragraphs and illustrations for our book. Then, we had our work edited by multiple editors. I was an editor. During this period of time, we outlined text to find information clearer in research. Finally, we completed our book.

What I learned |
Three things I learned about Ancient Greek mythology are- the story of how Medusa got her head of snakes, how the minotaur got its name, and what the phrase,"You just opened Pandora's box," means. Three things I learned about the Ancient Greek democracy is that democracy started in Ancient Athens Greece, a lot of vocabulary, and different types of democracy in Ancient Greece. The Greeks contributed democracy to modern society. Three things I learned about my chapter topic is that the Trojan War was a war between the Gods of Ancient Greece, there were more weapons than a sword in Ancient Greece, and that Sparta always wanted to go to war.

Reflection |
I enjoyed this project because I got to learn more about Ancient Greece. Working with my chapter group was tough because my group members were friends with each other and had a tendency to talk. My favorite part of this project was drawing my illustration for the book because I like to draw. My least favorite part of this project was editing my peers' work because it took a long time. I think I did well and am happy with my performance because I did my best. One thing I could have done better on is to keep telling my group members to stop talking more often. I am most proud of being a chapter editor. If I had to change something, I think it would be an even better opportunity if I got to be the student editor in chief.
