Project DescriptionIn this project we were assigned an orphan from The City of Angels orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. We needed to make a toy or product for them according to their age. I was given Victoria, age 9, and Manuel, age 10. I decided to make them a blanket and pillow with their name on it. We had 2 hours to make a prototype. After that, we researched how to make the product and what materials we would need.

Reflection |
I am very proud of my work because I finished my products on time and spent a lot of time and money on them. My favorite part was seeing the products come together. I think I should have glued the letters on Manuel's pillow because it would have taken less time and looked the best. I give myself an A+ because I worked really hard on my products and consider them to be high quality. I also made 2 pillows and blankets, helped my friend Angelica make her products and help Alex N. sew his pillow up. If this project is done next year, the class should start constructing earlier so everyone isn't as rushed.
