Project Process The purpose of this project was to learn about new concepts of numbers and what tricks they have. First, we read the book The Number Devil. For each chapter we had to do a worksheet about what we learned. Next, we selected a topic from the book and wrote a proposal on it explaining why we wanted it. Then we drew our sketches and had a gallery critique. When we got our first drafts critiqued, we started on our final drafts. After that, we learned how to use photoshop to color in our final drafts. Finally, we have our finished illustration about why our concept of math is beautiful.

What I Learned |
My concept is pi and circles. I learned that the number for pi has been calculated up to 5 trillion digits and still counting! I also learned how to play with photoshop. One tool that I learned how to use was the lasso tool to delete objects. I also learned, "The simpler, the better," for my rough draft in critique.

Reflection |
After completing this project, I feel really good about photoshop. The biggest challenge during this project was learning how to use photoshop because there are so many tools you can use. The most fun part of this project was illustrating my picture because I was exited to draw a slice of pie, or "pi." The worst part of this project was being absent because I missed some work time. I think I did well on this project because in my opinion, my drawing looks delicious! I loved this project and I wouldn't change a thing!
