We’re back from spring break! Over those weeks, I caught up on my reading for Becoming Nicole and am almost done with the book. While reading, I took notes on some very important research about BNST and it’s correlation to transgenders.
This week was exhibition! Well, Festival Del Sol at least. The real exhibition will be at the NAMI walk for mental health in April, so this week was a test to see how everything went. We had to make sure all of our deliverables were ready.
Unfortunately, I have fallen ill this past week and have not been able to come to any school. Of course, this week the class had visitors and workshops with new materials and research to teach, but I was not there, so I’ve been reading off of their worksheets and found a pretty interesting concept.
This week we presented our teen brain health proposals. Our project is about brain health, specifically in teens. The goal is to inform others about stigmas and how we can rewrite them to be positive.
We finally finished the pig dissection! It was pretty fun overall. I looked forward to it almost everyday. My mom took note of this, and asked me if I wanted to become a surgeon for a career. I thought for a second, contemplating my answer.
